파나소닉은 마이크로 포서즈(Micro Four Thirds) 방식을 적용한 최초의 DSLR인 루믹스 G1을 발표했습니다. 마이크로 포서즈 방식이 적용되어 세계에서 가장 작은 DSLR입니다. 미러박스와 광학식 뷰파인더가 없어 더 작은 사이즈 구현이 가능했습니다. 본체 크기는 124x83.6x45.2mm이고 크기는 380g입니다. 센서 크기는 17.3 x 13.0mm입니다. 3인치 LCD, 유효화소는 1210만화소이고, 손떨림 보정기능도 있습니다.
